Krkonose’s First Educational Cycle Trail

Černá a Světlá hora (Janské Lázně)

Krkonose’s first educational cycle trail runs along quiet roads on the sides of Cerna hora Mountain and Svetla hora Mountain via Vlasske chalet and Krausovy chalet, offering several pleasant views of the eastern Krkonose’s main ridge. The cable car can be used for free transport of your bike as luggage to the summit of Cerna hora from Janske Lazne. There are 9 panels on the trail, presenting the site and its history. The trail runs through the protected zones of the Krkonossky National Park, whose visitor rules must be obeyed. To provide quiet for the animals, bikes are only allowed on the trail until 5 pm.

Turn left and follow the markings on the K90 cycle track for the educational trail. After Zrcadla mountain, join the K19B cycle track and turn right at the Lucni svaznice junction for the K19C cycle track. At the Pod Kolinskou boudou junction, turn right again for the K1B cycle track. At Vaclavak junction, turn left and take the K90 track down Thamova road for Vlasske chalet, where refreshments are available. Then turn right and follow the K23 track past Velke Tippeltovy chalet and Krausovy chalet, the lowest point on the educational trail. Turn right for the K1B cycle track and ascend to Velke Pardubicke chalet and to the trail start at the Pod Cernou boudou junction.
