Krkonose chalets
Accommodation on the ridges
If there is anything unique in the history of the Krkonose, it is the lonely human dwellings high up in the mountains - huts founded alone or scattered in groups in meadow enclaves. The original summer shepherd's huts, where farmers from the valley villages drove their cattle for summer grazing, became the year-round homes of the families of the shepherds from the mid-18th century onwards. Even today, many of them serve tourists and visitors to the mountains. Enjoy their authentic atmosphere and explore their surroundings.
