Harrachova Trail
The Harrachova trail is 19 km long and connects Harrachov, in the western part of the Krkonose, with Spindleruv Mlyn in the central part.
Two Rivers and Two Waterfalls
You will be accompanied by the Krkonose’s two major rivers on this journey through unique parts of the Krkonose, the Labe and the Mumlava. Enjoy the roar of the water and watch how they make their way through the landscape. The Labsky waterfall falls to Labsky dul valley just one kilometre from the sources of the river. It is certainly worth taking a short detour to see it.
You can go back to the Harrachova trail at the ‘U ctyr panu’ junction. The River Mumlava Living and Dead educational trail will take you along the river Mumlava from the Krakonosova snidane junction.
The trail was built following an idea by Count Jan Nepomuk Harrach in 1876–1879. The section from Bily bridge in Spindleruv Mlyn to Labska chalet is the oldest marked hiking trail in the Krkonose.
