Descent to the Land of Forgotten Patriots
Take a ride downhill from the top of Certova mountain to the land of the lost patriots and smugglers. This route will take you through Harrachov – the town of glassmaking and ski jumps, and other interesting places; you will enjoy a steep descent as well as a comfortable trip through the landscape of the western parts of the Krkonose.
Take the cable car from Harrachov to Certova mountain to make your ascent easier. Follow the K4 cycle track from the upper cable car station down to the E65 main road where you turn left. Go to the Na Myte intersection and turn left for Rokytnice nad Jizerou and then right beyond the filling station to the old bridge over the River Jizera. After the bridge, turn left and follow cycle track 22 to Paseky nad Jizerou. In the village, turn right for the K3 track and go to the Sklenarice/Mexiko intersection. Turn left and continue along the main road to Jablonec nad Jizerou.
