Location
Lysecinska chalet is located at an altitude of 1000 m directly on the ridge. It is an ideal place to spend the night when crossing the Krkonose Mountains from Zacler or Trutnov. In winter, there is a groomed cross-country ski trail right in front of the hut - for cross-country skiing enthusiasts it is possible to go either in the direction of Rychorska bouda or on the other side towards Pomezni bouda. In the summer season, the same routes can be followed on foot or by bicycle.
Accommodation and catering
The property has been partially renovated, there are shared bathrooms. Wi-fi is free. There is also a shared kitchen for coffee, tea or small cooking. There are also two apartments with private bathrooms and one with a kitchenette. Breakfast is not included in the price. Guests have a common room at their disposal, the specialty is the own beer Karluv Jelen.
From history
Lysecinska chalet was built in 1926. In the vicinity there used to be an old merchant's path connecting Maršov and Alberice with Pomezní Boudy in Mala Úpa. According to local tradition, in 1779 the future Emperor Joseph II. In his memory, the nearby well from which he supposedly drank was long called Kaiserborn - the Imperial Spring.
For many years the building belonged to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which used it for the recreation of its employees.
