Carillon on the Church of St. Joseph

Daily Concert in Dolni Dvur

Every day, gentle music echoes through the valley of Dolni Dvur— the carillon in the Church of St. Joseph plays four melodies, which change with the seasons, and at Christmas, carols are played.

The eleven bells come from the workshop of Marie Tomaskova-Dytrychova from Brodek u Prerova. The church tower has housed them since 1995, when the carillon was ceremonially blessed by Bishop Karel Otcenasek.

The musical gift was donated to the village by honorary citizen and lover of Dolni Dvur, Mrs. Anna Alena Kyserova—a woman who used to come to the local log cabin to recharge and find peace.

The carillon plays every day at 10:00 and 17:00, on weekends also at noon. You can find out which melodies are currently playing on the Dolni Dvur municipal website.
