Upske peat bogs
Upske peat bogs (Upske raseliniste) was formed between the slopes of Studnicni mountain, Lucni hora mountain and the Hranicni ridge at an altitude of 1400–1425 m a.s.l. Přes Úpské rašeliniště vede tudy modrá turistická značka směrem od Luční boudy na vrchol Sněžky. It is situated on Bila louka meadow and accessible via a blue-marked hiking path from Lucni bouda chalet to the summit of Snezka. From an elevated causeway above the peat bog, some of the peat lakelets can be viewed.
East of here, Upska jama, one of the best developed corries in the Czech part of the Krkonose, subsides. Upsky waterfall falls here from the peat bogs. Krakonosova zahradka, a very valuable site in terms of botany, is part of Upska jama.
