Luční enkláva Sněžné domky je výjimečná hned z několika důvodů. Je odtud překrásný výhled na Krkonoše. A ačkoliv se louky nacházejí ve vysoké nadmořské výšce a sníh se tu držel do pozdního jara, závětrná strana a specifické mikroklima umožnily budařům na loukách úspěšně hospodařit.
