Svaty Petr
This popular part of the Spindleruv Mlyn Ski Resort offers fun for demanding as well as less demanding skiers. On the Audi Race Track, you can compare your time against that of Ondrej Bank, the Czech downhill star.
Svaty Petr has high-quality ski runs of various difficulties. Many sports events are held here, including international ones. A series of chair lifts and ski lifts can be used here, including a comfortable six-seat heated chair lift from Spindleruv Mlyn to Plan hill, one of the most luxurious ones in the country. The blue run, which is exceptionally wide and long, is ideal for beginners, while experienced and more demanding skiers will appreciate the red run. The black FIS World Cup ski run with international parameters, on which the most important and greatest ski contests are held, is ready for the most demanding skiers.
If you want to compete as well as have some fun, you can use the popular Audi Race Track in the upper part of the red run, called the Playground, where you can compare the time you achieve against the time of Ondrej Bank, the successful Czech Alpine skiing racer. The run is 300 m long, with a gradient of some 90 m.
Refreshments are available at the upper and lower lift stations, where you can also take a rest and enjoy the breath-taking views of the surrounding snow-clad mountains. From Plan, you can see, for instance, Zlate navrsi, Kotel, Medvedin and other mountains. Whether you order traditional Czech cuisine or international cuisine, you will certainly enjoy your meal in a comfortable environment with a good view.
If you like cross-country skiing, you can use several groomed trails which run in various directions from Plan hill. The most popular ones are to Strazne, Krasna plan or towards Klinove chalet.
Medvedin
The highest spot in the Spindleruv Mlyn ski resort, which of all the resorts also has the greatest amount of sunshine per year.
You can ski on Medvedin hill via an easy blue ski run and on two red runs, one of which at its 60 m wide is among the widest ski runs in the country. The facilities in Medvedin, however, offer skiing also for experienced and demanding skiers on the black run. Four-seat chair lifts will take you to the top of the run from Spindleruv Mlyn or from Horni Misecky. A ski lift for the upper parts of the runs is also available.
You can warm up, take refreshments and relax in the restaurant with its styling stove and large outdoor terrace with magnificent views of the Krkonose: Zelezny hill is directly in front of you, followed by Vysoke kolo, Lucni hora and also Snezka, the highest Czech mountain. You can enjoy Czech as well as international cuisine, and one huge plush bear, the mascot of the restaurant.
Horni Misecky
Horni Misecky is the newest part of the Spindleruv Mlyn ski resort, ideal especially for families with children.
The gentle and wide ski run here is excellent especially for children, beginning skiers and snowboarders. Everyone can also enjoy the so-called funtrack in the upper part where diverse bumps, waves, inclined bends and other features provide even bigger fun when skiing.
A new four-seat chair lift will take you to the top of the ski run, and three other ski lifts are available in the lower part of the run. But that’s not all: Horni Misecky offers the separate Burton Snowpark on a sunny slope. Its various entertaining features are designed so as to satisfy the less experienced as well as more demanding snowboarders and skiers. A refreshments stall can be found approximately in the middle of the ski run, and ski hire is available at the lower lift station, along with GOPASS Tickets self-operated cash desks for ski passes.
Hromovka
Long and varied ski runs for demanding skiers, and one of the longest and best illuminated ski runs for night-time skiing in the country – this is skiing at Hromovka.
Two interesting red ski runs offer excellent conditions for more experienced skiers as well as for snowboarders. Especially snowboarders will enjoy the funtrack in the upper part of the longer ski run. Refreshments and relaxation can be found at the upper lift station.
And if you like the unforgettable atmosphere of night-time skiing, be sure to try Hromovka. It offers one of the longest and best illuminated ski runs in the country. Below that, at the lower lift station, you can warm up with a drink during night-time skiing in the popular Après-ski bar.
