Descent along the Kozelsky Brook
Rezek, a mountain village 890 m above sea level, can be reached by road from Jilemnice, Vítkovice or Rokytnice nad Jizerou. You can use the Krkonoše cyclobus, your own car or you can take a bike ride under your own power.
From Rezek, take the KČT 22 cycling track to Rokytnice nad Jizerou and one kilometre further turn right onto the KRNAP 6 cycling track and ride up to the Sedlo pod Dvoračkami junction. From there, take the KRNAP 1A cycling track to Vidlice junction and continue downhill along the KRNAP 8A cycling track to Skelné Hutě and the Skala Hotel (watch out for the gate).
All the way along the Kozelský brook, which runs in beautiful natural cascades, certainly worth seeing. At the Skala Hotel, take road 286 to Jilemnice.
- Length: 23 km
- Surface: The route is running almost fully on a mix of solid and reinforced roads. However, the passage along the Kozelský brook requires special attention, as the road tends to get steep and is used by forest machinery. Pay attention to the traffic on road 286.
