From Horni Mala Upa to Rychory

Horni Mala Upa - Horni Marsov - Rychory

Take a trip along less well-known roads to very attractive and often visited sites in the eastern parts of the Krkonose. You will see the picturesque timbered houses in Mala Upa, the almost forgotten village of Sklenarovice and the wild Rychorsky forests and Dvorsky primeval forest.

We recommend taking a Krkonose cyclo-bus to Horni Mala Upa and continuing a little to the north to the Czech-Polish border.  Turn right onto the K24 cycle track and along the Fairytale hiking trail to the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul, the highest located church building in the Krkonose. Turn left for the K24C cycle track and then left again onto the K1A track to Cestnik junction. Continue straight on the K26 track to Horni Marsov. Turn left onto Rychorska Trail and after approx. 1 km turn right for Mankova Trail, continuing on the K26 track. At the Slunecna stran intersection, take the Golden (Zlata) Trail via Antoninuv Dul, past the mediaeval stone bridge and the bell tower in Sklenarovice to the Kutna–Rychory junction. It takes only a short while to get to Rychorska chalet, where you can relax and take refreshments, and also lock your bike and take a hike to Dvorsky (Rychorsky) forest.

From Rychorska chalet, you can go back on the K26C cycle track via Horni Marsov, or to the Rychorsky kriz junction and the K1A cycle track to Zacler.
