This track is a real mountain trip offering beautiful views of the Krkonose mountains, Mount Studnicni and Mount Snezka . The track ends at the small chapel in Obri dul valley at the end of the asphalt road. With good physical condition, it is accessible for seniors and for baby prams, and with an assistant it is accessible for those in electric or mechanical wheelchairs. There are no discounts for disability card holders in the car park. This mountain track begins in the ‘Zeleny potok’ paid car park in Pec pod Snezkou. The track length, counting both directions, is 8.5 km with a 284 m rise. The track has blue marking and all of it runs along asphalt roads, with several passages with a rougher surface. The track offers magnificent views of mounts Snezka and Studnicni and the bottom of the glacial valley, and ends at the small chapel in Obri dul valley, near ‘Bouda pod Snezkou’ chalet. The small chapel now houses panels describing the great flood of 1897; unfortunately, the access isn’t barrier-free. Several chalets along the track offer a place to rest; however, only ‘Bouda v Obrim dole’ chalet is barrier-free. Some passages are quite steep and those in wheelchairs will need an assistant. The track has the following alternative route: From Pec pod Snezkou, you can take the road for Velka Upa on the right-hand bank of the River Upa. The track length, counting both directions, is 4.5 km and it is a quiet and easy track above the mountain river. 1. The Krokus Hotel The hotel is located in Pec pod Snezkou next to the car park, and offers a barrier-free entrance to the building, toilets and restaurant. It also offers accommodation for the handicapped. It is also suitable for families with children and for seniors. 2. ‘Bouda v Obrim dole’ Chalet The building has barrier-free access including the restaurant and toilets, and is also suitable for families with children and for seniors. 3. ‘Bouda pod Snezkou’ Chalet This building is accessible for families with children, but quite inaccessible for wheelchairs.
