This track will lead you through the most interesting places in the eastern Krkonose. It starts in Pec pod Snezkou, a major ski resort lying at the foot of Mount Snezka, the highest Czech mountain. You will ascend through Javori dul valley to Cernohorske raseliniste, peat bogs which are more than 6 thousand years old, where you can join the educational trail. The journey begins on the blue-marked tourist path from Pec pod Snezkou on the right-hand bank of the River Upa along the main road to Velka Upa. Twenty minutes later, this path will take you to Javori mlyn (mill) in Velka Upa, where you turn right and ascend along the green-marked tourist path to Cervenokostelecka bouda chalet and then via the blue-marked tourist path to the junction near Thamovy boudy chalet. From there you continue along the green-marked path for Vlasske boudy chalet and then via the yellow-marked tourist path to Peticesti and further until you come to the Cernohorske raseliniste peat bogs. Turn left through the peat bogs to Pardubicka bouda chalet at the SW foot of the Cerna hora mountain and Svetla hora mountain and you will see magnificent views, especially of Pec pod Snezkou, Mlade Buky and the town of Trutnov. Follow the green-marked and then blue-marked tourist path and after 15 minutes you will come to Cerna bouda chalet, at the foot of Cerna hora mountain. The red-marked tourist path will take you to Kolinska bouda chalet. There you will turn right onto the yellow-marked path, which will take you back to Pec pod Snezkou.
